Welcome to the MAA Scholar Project. The aim of this project is to provide texts about several astronomical and astrophysical subjects, prepared in a way that even a layman can understand them (most of it, respectively) yet interesting enough to be of interest to the professionals. It is meant to be like a course about astronomy. The topics below are currently being considered to be prepared. Of course, we will offer other topics as well if you show interest in them.
As many things in the MAA this service is under construction, i.e. we are still collecting and writing, respectively, textes. If you have a text, want to write one or know about an appropriate text, please send a note to MAA (at) clell.de.
