We are working with a high bandwidth adaptive optics system coupled
to the coude feed of a 41" reflector at Yerkes Observatory to
observe Jupiter during and after the impact events. A combination
of cloudy weather and difficulties with the optical train have
thus far precluded any useful observations. We anticipate conducting
observations tomorrow and thereafter should conditions allow. We
have virtually unlimited telescope time and will attempt to monitor
the visible features in Jupiter's atmosphere.
