The fragment L plume has steadily brightened until we had to switch from
the 2.23 - 2.29 filter to a 1% filter centered at 2.29um due to saturation.
The plume continued to brighten until the image saturated in this filter
as well (recall that we are using an 0.4m diameter telescope). The
integration time was 0.6s. The plume began to dim below the saturation
threshold at 2.29um at 22:33 UT. It was still at least twice as bright as
Io at 22:40 UT.
