Observations of Europa

>From Calar Alto.

We recorded a lightcurve of Europa at the 2.2m telescope in a broad band K filter, at a rate of 500 Hz (19:30 to 20:25 UT). No increase in the satellite's luminosity is to be seen , at least at the 3% level. Tighter constraints will be possible after more analysis.
